Brains and Bibles
What We Do:
Brains and Bibles equips local churches through three training tracks: Evangelism, Discipleship, and Bible Study. Joel models his ministry on Ephesians 4:11-16, viewing it as a blueprint for church growth. As a teacher, he focuses on equipping believers to fulfill the Great Commission, making disciples through going, baptizing, and teaching. Going means seeking the lost; baptizing represents evangelism and adding believers to the Church; teaching is the lifelong process of helping people live like Christ. Through these efforts, Joel helps churches grow stronger, mature in faith, and stay centered on Scripture and the mission of making disciples.
How We Would Use Your Gift:
Many small churches long to reach their communities but are without a full-time pastor or the resources to provide quality biblical training. That’s where Brains and Bibles comes in. Joel travels to these churches, equipping pastors and congregations to share the gospel, disciple new believers, and grow in God’s Word. Your gift makes this possible by helping cover travel, materials, and training costs for churches that can’t contribute financially. Ultimately, we strive to make disciples of Jesus Christ who, in turn, make more disciples. Let’s partner to strengthen the church and expand the reach of the Gospel!

Greenbelt Area Christian Concerts
What We Do:
In a world full of “influencers” where do we find those who have a message that will point people to the greatest influence of all, Jesus Christ? Greenbelt Area Christian Concerts is working to provide one avenue, music! Each year a group of volunteers works to bring one evening of live music to Estes Park in Iowa Falls, IA. This is a “FREE” concert and is designed to promote Jesus to all who attend. The hope is that people will understand their need for a Savior and get connected to a local church to seek that relationship.
How We Would Use Your Gift:
This event is “Free” so funds received from donors are used to cover the cost of the touring artists along with production expenses. Our event is held in a city park and we bring in a stage along with professional sound and lights to make this evening a great experience. Like so many things, this event is not getting cheaper so expanding our donor base is key to keeping this event FREE! This coming year, 2026 will be our 15th live concert, and in the future we have considered adding additional smaller events.

Northeast Iowa, FCA
What We Do:
For the past 13 years, the Northeast Iowa Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) has been serving 12 counties with the mission to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. One area we see tremendous opportunity is to serve under-reached families through FCA Youth League Basketball. Our League provides all families, no matter their financial status, a place to have their children participate in youth basketball. The focus is player development, physically and spiritually. Beyond the scope of youth impact, we desire to invest in parents and in turn transform families.
How We Would Use Your Gift:
In the youth athletics world, families with financial resources are often able to join club teams, which are highly competitive and require tryouts to participate. FCA League breaks down that barrier and is available to all. Your gift would provide the opportunity for players to hear the gospel and grow in Christ, as we open the Word and learn how to compete in the name of Jesus. Through your gift, young athletes would develop basketball skills at no cost, each student would be given a bible, and receive their team jersey for free.
